The winding path leading to the creation of Take Charge Tea. (part one)

In 1990, I decided to take an evening course called “Herbology, Level 1″ with my dear friend Ulli from Austria. The course was held in a business park office in Ottawa south, and the teacher’s name was Lyn Armor. She was a larger than life woman, with a lot of other aspects to her practice that I, at the time, was unfamiliar with but nonetheless found intriguing. Lynn was doing colonic irrigations to the great appreciation of her clients. Many of them feel that the treatments saved their lives. She also was and still is a practicing Reiki Master. And I went to a sweatlodge training session with her, but I could not make it to the actual sweat. I respected how seriously she took the matter and the fact that she required a training session for participants. I felt intuitively certain that this was necessary for us western city folks not accustomed to such spiritual experiences.
